In 2015 Lin Manuel-Miranda made a bold choice casting non-white actors as the founding fathers. How would that go over today?
David Marcus“The fact that the creator of the show is a person of color and it gave huge opportunities to non-white actors would make the upper middle class white wokesters responsible for most of the inane progressive jibber jabber keep their mouths shut about it.”
The New York Times quoted The Federalist's David Marcus as saying the opposite of what he actually said.
David Marcus“I prefer to blame incompetence, which is overstocked at The NY Times for errors like this. But in this case, I believe they purposefully distorted my remarks for a political agenda that they cannot defend by honest means.”
Last week it was decided to remove the image because it evoked racism and colonialism. Sunday, the other side turned out.

Our leaders, on left and right, are fully prepared to watch us burn. Now is the time to know fully what you believe in and fight for it.
