@o_guest @djnavarro @cMadan @BayesForDays Indeed, I think for ManyBabies we, particularly @mcxfrank, have actively promoted openness at all stages, to me it was very important to avoid this in-group feel (which I could write a whole separate thread about). Very early on there was eg this blog post

I got curious and looking at publication dates, the ManyBabies idea precedes the paper: babieslearninglanguage.blogspot.com/2015/12/the-ma… Which is in line with my memory, yay. It might have been a nudge for journals to adopt RRs, I wouldn't deny that.

This project began over lunch at SRCD 20215. With urging from @BrianNosek, these conversations became a blogpost (babieslearninglanguage.blogspot.com/2015/12/the-ma…) and an endless email thread as a growing group discussed what it would mean to collaborate across labs on a single replication project.
