As usual, is exactly right. Applaud Nike’s decision to take a risk, but don’t kid yourself that it’s about anything other than selling more sneakers.
This is smart, but I'm not entirely convinced.
The same “Big Sort” that makes the congressional map hard for Democrats is solidifying the dominance of liberal attitudes in consumer marketing. Which is to say, you’ll see more like Nike + Kaepernick and Delta vs. NRA
