Review of Practice Guidelines for Men and Boys | Masculinity | Gender
This document reviews a proposed draft for the treatment of men and boys presented before the American Psychological Association's Council of Representatives in August, 2018
Excellent critique of a draft version of the new
Guidelines for Psychological Practice with Boys and Men. Sadly, most of the concerns raised apparently went unheeded.
Agreed. I was actually in the APA Council of Reps meeting this was voted on and warned them this was scientifically unsound. Unfortunately, they did not listen. My review, shared with Council at the time, can be found here:

Well-reasoned critique: "[This document] lacks the objectivity, balance and breadth of literature review, and concern for all backgrounds (rather than just some) that would be necessary for an APA endorsed practice guideline."
Great thoughtful peer review style critique of the APA Guidelines on practice with men by a dissenting member of the group who wrote them. 5-10 min read
