Graffiti on Harvard's campus demanded of : "which side are you on?" The answer should have been obvious: the side of justice. Justice requires due process. Without it, we have mob justice.
Perceptive, from , on the message Harvard's conduct sends to students: "Your school will appease your heartfelt outrage at the costs of the fundamental values—constitutional, ethical, and moral—that it is supposed to be instilling."
Every report I've seen on this, including from leftist outlets like Slate, documents bad student behavior, acknowledges student complaints, but concludes based on what the students themselves did that this was a bad decision. And this is just one example.
Fantastic piece by on Harvard's "craven, foolish" decision to axe Sullivan as faculty dean.
