The emerging spirituality is a hodgepodge spirituality. Each person borrows practices from, say, Native American, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish and SoulCycle traditions and blends them in a way he or she finds moving.

Eg it was once rare to move from Judaism to Christianity without being forced to by an all powerful Church, but in our new found age of autonomy this sort of transition is more common.
