I'm glad the CBP commissioner is resigning. But the personnel isn't the problem; nobody can "do it better." Children and families seeking asylum should not be held indefinitely in prisons or prison camps.

Perhaps my Republican friends can help me understand this? I'd thought the poor treatment of children was the point - to convince migrants not to try to enter the US. If that's the case, then why fire this guy? Or was the poor treatment just incompetence?
