Pakistan signs letter commending China for its “remarkable achievements in the field of human rights” in Xinjiang. [That’s one way of putting it.]
Pakistan, the thakedar of Muslim ummah, is amongst 40 countries who've written a letter to UN backing China's policies in Xinjiang and commending China's "remarkable achievements in the field of human rights."
There are basically three types of countries supporting China's Xinjiang policy: anti-Westerners, opponents of human rights in general, and poor countries economically dependent on China. The categories aren't mutually exclusive (I went with best fit).

And there is a bigger shame on these Muslim-majority states who went out of their way to endorse China's persecution of their own co-religionists: Saudi Arabia Syria Pakistan Oman Kuwait Qatar United Arab Emirates Bahrain
