Yo, , this is not an ethical way to present this research. Who actually did the work and wrote the manuscript? You certainly didn't.
We've released a preprint with additional scientific detail on our devices for domain experts who want to know more. You can find it on bioArxiv: "An integrated brain-machine interface platform with thousands of channels"
I have rarely been so proud to to be in the "et al": P.S. We're hiring scientists too:
An integrated brain-machine interface platform with thousands of channels #biorxiv_neursci
Looks like is the hot topic this morning. Quick thread w/ links to some relevant stuff: First, their white paper is up on biorxiv this morning An integrated brain-machine interface platform with thousands of channels
That is indeed the Open Ephys GUI (). Makes sense if they wanted an easy to extend software that is optimized for ephys workflows. Dont know about the video example, but the spikes in their pre-print () look great.
So, I've read the Neuralink whitepaper: All jokes aside, the paper is written very well (although I imagine not by Elon Musk despite the author list). The technology is a clear step forward and follows from previous work from Neuralink's scientists.
FYI on the bioRxiv paper Neurolink seems to be listed in the way a consortium group would be for a genomics paper (that may not be considered appropriate but slightly different from sole authorship)
Neuralink white paper is now on BioRxiv, btw
An integrated brain-machine interface platform with thousands of channels Single author manuscript by Elon Musk which I assume means he did all the work himself
