The thing about this NYT piece on Trump-Obama voters that is most distressing is the extent to which a small, but powerful segment of the electorate has little idea what is actually happening with their government - and how it operates:
One thing that comes through here is just how vulnerable Trump would be in the event of an economic downturn or softening... a downturn or softening that really does not seem likely in the next six months.
