UK’s military interventions have fuelled terrorism, says Corbyn
The Labour leader will highlight the radicalising effect of the Iraq war in attacks such as the London Bridge stabbings
Oh cool, so Corbyn and Milne have decided to make the stupidest possible speech in response.
Aside from antisemitism and Brexit, it is precisely because of Jeremy Corbyn’s foreign policy approach that I cannot vote for Labour. And let’s get something very clear, Corbyn’s closest advisors Milne and Murray both explicitly support the War on Terror
It’s pretty chilling and bizarre Corbyn felt a need to repeat this claim. It’s victim-blaming that wouldn’t be tolerated for any other crime. The attacker was at a rehabilitation conference, his first named victim a man who dedicated his life to that.

Our initial refusal to help Bosnia Muslims had been propaganda for Islamists. Our inaction in Syria has fuelled the rise of ISIS through Assad's barbarism. This argument is very much a post-2003 one, and both outdated and deeply flawed
This is such rubbish and totally lets terrorists off the hook. So many things our government does disgust and anger millions of people who do NOT go on killing sprees. UK’s military interventions have fuelled terrorism, says Corbyn
Waiting for #Corbyn and fellow apologists to explain how exactly our foreign policy is responsible for Yazidis rotting in mass graves. Islamist extremists hate us because of who we are - infidels - everything else is secondary.
Corbyn can’t take away agency from the #LondonBridge terrorist. Millions opposed the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was his decision to join a terrorist group. To murder in cold blood. He’s not the victim. His victims are lying in a morgue.
Corbyn’s argument makes no sense, because the ideology and terrorism that launched the War of Terror—obviously—predate it.
