What a way to start Nobel week in Stockholm - Abhijit, Esther and Michael donated their entire prize money to unlock a $50m donation from the Weiss family to fund innovative research of next generation of economists.

Like the award of the Nobel prize itself, this is no surprise, but it is fantastic news. BDK have worked to make it possible for younger (and older!) scholars to build on their research. Their dedication to learning is an inspiration.
