Fifty years after an APA presidential address challenging psychologists to give psychology away, which became the APS' informal motto, the APS is still keeping psychology research behind a paywall.
The actual phrase was "giving psychology away" I believe. I broadened it a bit :-). It appeared in Bjork's presidential column in 1991, quoting Miller.
