Demoralizing news on the vaccine front. 46% of Americans unsure whether they cause autism, despite mainstream media shouting safety from the rooftops. Just not sure how to combat this kind of thing.
Only 84% of Americans believe it is "extremely or very important" for parents to vaccinate their kids, down from 94% in 2001. Super fucking alarming. 46% of respondents answered "unsure" on whether there is link between vaccines and autism.
Only 45% of Americans say vaccines do not cause autism in children. Ten percent say it does, 46% are unsure.

Trends in US vaccine attitudes (imptance, risk vs. disease). Lots here to ponder--not good, some promise. Educ. differences intriguing--biggest changes on lower educ. but esp. "some college." I'd bet many state-level polls wld look much worse. Ht
