We don’t know how risky the virus is, which makes it seem riskier
There's little to no evidence that shows that cancelling events would effectively prevent or slow the possible spread of the virus, so all the events getting cancel is just based on fear.

I fail to see what the point of this article is or what point it’s trying to serve? We could be in the middle of a global pandemic, but since we don’t know for 100% sure yet we should put our heads in the sand and do business as usual? Despite the risks?
