Women don’t ski in long, flowing dresses because it would be dangerous and stupid to do so. But a man does it, and objecting indicates some sort of failure “as a woman who wants to help rewrite gender norms”?! FFS.

“I, the woman, was part of the problem” says the writer... because she was craving masculinity & didn’t feel comfortable with her boyfriend wearing dresses. Hmm... maybe it’s just natural for women to crave masculinity. Feminists are taking this too far.
I thought I was really open-minded about masculinity, but my boyfriend's fondness for dresses helped me realize there was a gap between my ideals and reality. Wrote a little essay about this, inspired by the wedding dress he bought - for himself.
