check out the W.H.O ‘Solidarity’ global trial too and how Gilead’s Remdesivir and [hydroxy]chloroquine are described. there’s a constant subtle negative bias towards off-patent drugs (and this is a much bigger problem than just for Covid19)
Example: “Based on evidence from laboratory, animal and clinical studies, the following treatment options were selected…” This seems consistent with what you’re saying - they *are* using non-RCT evidence.
