Dr. Fauci was correct -- more importantly, he was humble.
In certain political circles, it has apparently become important to knock Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
I looked at those comments where Fauci was supposedly “downplaying” the threats of coronavirus. He wasn’t. I wrote this: “ Dr. Fauci was correct -- more importantly, he was humble.” >>

This is a really great piece by
piece on Trump vs. Fauci. Trump said the virus was "totally under control." Fauci said "the ultimate scope and effect of this outbreak is unclear ... as the situation is rapidly evolving." One man acknowledged uncertainty. The other didn't.
Fauci wasn’t predicting a pandemic. But he also wasn't saying there would be no pandemic. He was expressing uncertainty about a new and mysterious disease
