Think some of the positivity increase numbers are weekend artifacts; the asymptomatic are unlikely to go out of their way to get a weekend test, meaning only the symptomatic are likely to go weekends. /2

All eyes on reopening, which includes 2x/wk saliva-based testing, aiming for same-day results. In the wk ending Aug 24, they did almost 60K tests, (17K on the 24th alone) w/ results tracked in public dashboard.

Dashboard just updated with Monday's results. 230 new cases. That's more than double Sunday's previous record of 104. Chancellor issued a "no social interaction" order to students with threats of suspension.
COVID positivity rate is 17% in College Station () as students come back into town. By contrast, UIUC is <1%. Yikes!
