So, in principle, it’s OK to agree to restrict one’s use of state aid in a free trade agreement? Not an affront to sovereignty? Fair enough.
In fairness, this gov’t did the Japan deal in a rush, have probably not read it, almost certainly not understood it, and think they can break it, in specific and limited ways, six months after signing it.
