Listening to start of #wikicite author disambiguation going on now and was struck by the novel eScholarship living allowances, awarded in place of much larger travel grants. Hope this percolates in funding agencies the world over.
Putting the final touches on my talk and subsequent hands-on session at tomorrow's #Wikicite 2020 edition.
In this session we will annotate items on scholarly articles and when possible disambiguate authors. Join us at: meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/WikiCite/…pic.twitter.com/lgTOnFExWB
"Floating classifications - Knowledge Organization Systems in past, present and future"
