The U.S. will have almost fewer 21,000 Election Day polling places in 2020 than four years ago.
That's a 20% drop from 2016.

We documented more than 20,000 polling place closures between 2016 and the upcoming election, about 20% of all sites. Some states are cutting more than half of their locations, others have expanded their list of polling sites. @VICENews
