Exclusive: Labour leader says debate is over as he seeks to shift focus to social justice and climate
James Ball“Jeremy Corbyn has told his fractious shadow cabinet “the debate is over” on Brexit”
Labour literally doesn’t have a policy on what it would back in a second ref. So in what possible sense is the debate “over”?

Seats in which the Lib Dems aren't the incumbent and are recommended: 175
Seats in which Labour aren't the incumbent and are recommended: 1

James BallHere’s my 1,700 word effort to unpick the evidence on Boris Johnson and the idea he’s pushing for no-deal to help his hedge fund backers
James BallThis apparent conspiracy is one which would dwarf Watergate: A prime minister purposely destroying his own country, risking millions of jobs, and even vital medicine supplies, to enrich his friends.
The problem? There’s no evidence it’s true.
As a policy wonk, a technologist, a privacy campaigner, and as a parent, ICO's Age Appropriate Design Code is one of the worst proposals I’ve ever seen.

And that’s tough competition.
Many seats might well be won with no more than a third of the vote. Much will depend on whose vote is the more efficiently distributed and how tactical voting is used
James BallGood article on polling. What it means it practice:
Don't trust anyone who tells you confidently what will happen this election. Don't trust anyone's "models" or "projections". Don't trust "how to vote tactically" calculators. No-one knows anything.

The self-help guru’s supposedly empowering rhetoric masks a mean-spirited individualism that would lead to harmful policies if she were somehow elected.
